Uncooking 101: Rookie Video - How to Sprout Quinoa

Sprouting is easy - and a big part of a balanced raw foods diet. My first attempt at sprouting quinoa (which I APPARENTLY mispronounced - it should be "keen-wah" not "kwin-oh-ah") went pretty well, considering I have a brown thumb. I've even killed bamboo. Quinoa has a super high protein content, making it a great addition to salads. Please pardon my camera work - I didn't realize how awful it was until I started editing.

key-know-ah is how it is said in spanish, keen-wha is the english way. So actually no need to be embarrassed at all.

That was helpful - I've been looking into getting one of those auto sprouters but they are about two hundred dollars or so, I think I might just do it this way!!
