at least SA was pretty decent, and SA2 was possibly the best 3D sonic game at the time.. lots of good levels and music in that game

It looked interesting, but it's style made it feel like an arcade game that removed you from the world instead of an adventure epic like Mario 64 which put you into the world it was showing you.
