I find Peter is put in the same bag as Hendrix , both are famous for their guitar skills , but for me it's their lyrics that are exceptional.

According to Elvis Costello, this is the first song he learned on guitar. He also used to see Peter Green circa 1970 at the "local record shop", and he "looked like Jesus".

I love that Peter Green gave it all to us. He is a gift to us. I respect this man so much, then and now. He made the most of it, no regrets, life is what it is, we have very little control over it. You know he's grinning from ear to ear when he listens to his recording, God what a gift!!!
