I can't remember how I came up with the the Reverb Shock - Million Stabs trick, but it works wonders, just as long as you can keep the other spiders off screen. It'll cause massive style decay, but I don't mind that.

If you're wondering why I keep hitting the start button all the damn time, it's because I have a habit of holding the trigger button without really noticing it. With certain attacks, dead spiders will lay baby spiders. They'll attach themselves onto you and explode, delivering damage.

One way to shake them off is to Sky Star around, or to simply trigger. Since I keep DTE fully charged at all times, I resort to bringing up the pause menu, let go of the L1 button, go back into the game and trigger the babies off. If you'll notice, once I'm back into the game, the DT runes will "explode" and go back to normal, allowing me to NOT waste DT just to shake off a few spiders.

Granted, this run was the first run I've had where I was able to get out of the spider room without taking a scratch. I knew I wanted to switch styles, so I did so here...it was mostly for the Sword Pierce Killer Bee method, but the Greed room was pretty sloppy. I completely forgot about bringing Spiral and/or Kalina Ann along for it. The Nevan spamming was just experimental, so...eh.

@SundarkSoldier I don't think I've ever been grabbed by one during an SS run. I tend to stay away from them, but when dealing with spiders, I tend to get sloppy. Spiders aren't the easiest enemies to fight.

I always preferred a combination of gunslinger and swordsmaster... never liked nevan always thought that agni and rudra were awesome as was rebellion.

When you beat the game in hard or easy (i don´t remember very well) They give you that costume.Like the Sparda Costume or the devil may cry 1 costume

His energy is red because he's charging a Devil Trigger Explosion (DTE). It's a way to send out an almost-invisible shockwave that sacrifices as many DT orbs as you charge up before you release the Devil Trigger button and let'er rip. The more DT orbs you burned, the more damage it'll do. He says at one point in his vids that he pretty much perpetually has a DTE charging, since on DMD Mode, y'never know when ya might need its awesome power of terror!!!11!!! (So powerful they took it out of DMC3)

its an unlockable feature in the game. its like a tribute to the very beginning of the game when hes fighting shirtless.
