  • @jjohnson11000 "its not made to fire alot its made to carry...."

What is the primary function of a gun? To be shot.

Now, I'm not say I disagree with you completely but all guns are made to be fired first otherwise what good is it. Besides a concealed carry gun should be more reliable than a gun you just plink because your life may depend on it at some point.

  • This guy owns a pistol, has pointed out an obvious problem and the only thing that comes from some of you are nasty, stupid, unwarranted comments. He's a Mexican, he may not have purchased it legally, he has some kind of personal gripe with Ruger...makes me sick to think there are so many idiots out there with access to keyboards, let alone vote or own real guns. America used be a place where "stupid" was frowned upon. If you are upset by this post then you are the worst of the bunch.

  • Ruger LCR came out with the .357 version in Novermber 2010. You posted the video in Sept. 2009 more than a year BEFORE Ruger released the LCR in .357. I guess you got an early version? So I suspect my assessment is correct. You posted a fine testimonial to the strenght of the Ruger. The .38 spl version with the alloy cylinder held up to full house magnum loads.

  • Not sure why anyone is surprised this is happening, after all, it is a polymer frame gun, and flame cutting happens to steel frame guns too. When the stainless guns first came out, they had problems with cracks in the forcing cones. Here's a tip to all you armchair commandos out there, don't buy the "trick gun of the month" your dealer or some magazine is pushing, and instead buy one with a long proven track record of reliability.

  • @CoachStirfry He did update it. I don't know when, but he added in the comments box that he got a refund and instead bought a different gun.

  • @jc26041 Then why is it sold as a 357MAG. dumbass?

  • @hrnciarska I wouldn't look for an update. Most likely Ruger sent him a new gun and told him to stop shooting his over pressured reloads through it.

  • ditch that shitty LCR and get yourself a nice S&W 442. Wise words

  • Update retard?

  • 1:48 does not know if the frame is aluminum or stainless steel. Scheesh.
