This weekend brings live music to Central Alberta with the 9th annual Alberta's Own Independent Music Festival held in Lacombe as part of the Lacombe Days celebrations. The event spans three days, July 16 17 and 18 with live music on the mainstage, a beer garden and camping. We spoke with Rob Bouvier of RGB Productions.
The festival has a long history of featuring independent music and up and coming bands. Opening the show were Red Deer's These Old Bones.
This is the first year that the festival was part of Lacombe Days which started on Thursday and continues until Sunday with a variety of events around town.
