i beg to disagree with the last phrase. being a medieval reenactor myself (depending on the situation, pike block or sword and shield), the place you don't want to be, is in the group that is ordered to charge the archers head on. rubber tipped or not, it knocks the air right out of you getting one on the torso, regardless of my gambeson and hauberk.

@WesleySpeaks23 Not at all... a 40 pound bow isn't going to do jack shit against plate, rubber or steel tip regardless. Hell, a 150 pound warbow will even have a hard time piercing plate unless they use bodkins, but bodkins wound are rarely fatal so it wont even come close to one shot one kill. Unlike earlier armour, late medieval full plate had no vulnerable areas (hence the name FULL plate), making arrows almost useless against armoured knights.

Respected or not the results would have been very different if the archers were using real arrow tips, each hit would have been a kill.

It's pity that the musketeers was take over the battle field because of the high firepower. With all requirements gone the armies become bigger and bigger. Like the armies in the WW 1 or the 2-nd one. I think the ,,inflation" of the importance of the men power make the wars more bloody than ever. Like the civilian victims in the wars. In the past I think there wouldn't be that much dead of the innocents.
What do you think of this?

@LBStudios not just the knight but anything really. Thats what the mongols did and they had the 2nd biggest empire ever (next to British empire)

I think the most deadliest weapon against Knight is the Horse archers. They can keep distance, while they shoot and they can ride arounde the knights and find/hit the weakest points.
Or is there any better combinations?
