I hate people who dont have acne and think ProActive works for everyone. What, so you think Im just too lazy to use it, or something. No. In fact Ive dropped hundreds of dollars on derm visits and prescription medications over the last year. For all you acne sufferers, I feel your pain. Those of you with clear skin who think acne is a result of bad hygiene or diet: Go to hell!

Thanks for sharing your story. I can relate, because I suffered with acne as a teen. It was horrible. In the end, I found that natural cures worked the best for me, and I tried all kinds of pills and potions that weren't suitable for my type of acne.

I know alot of people have posted some form of acne medication to try, and while I myself am really hoping to try accutane soon anybody can check out this web site acne.org The steps are helping me somewhat tho Ive only been trying for a a few weeks. The forums and message boards are great if anyone wants to vent, ask questions or just get support.

I hope everyone here including me lol gets clear one day

I so agree with you. I dont mean to critique any overweight people at all cause I kinda used to be heavy when I was a preteen but I would MUCH rather be fat with no acne then fit with alot of it. Your overweight friend wont ever know the trauma of having acne cause its hard to really make it go away. Most people cant help their acne, but the overweight can lose their problem easier. Not easy....but easier.

I'll give my honest opinion, based upon a real situation: myself. I have a very beautifull face, great jaws, etc., but i was "attacked" by acne when i was 13/14 years old. I was very sad about it, naturally, and i must have spent more than a 1000 euros on visits to the doctor, buying all kind of stuff. It eventually faded away, although i still have one or two enemies on the forehead. I tottaly respect and admire people that have it. Be patient about it.

@oldmanwithers1 yeah its not as easy as it sounds. i dont have perfect straight hair to cover it with, my hair is too curly to go over the acne
