Opposite Land

In Opposite Land
Lived opposite Man
He lived every day
With his Opposite Plans
Stop it meant Go
Happy was sad
Yes it Meant No
and Evil was Rad
In Opposite Land, they took more than they'd need
They all concurred no greater good than Greed
In Opposite Land, they championed Democracy
Which meant strict control and fear and hypocrisy
In Opposite Land, they spoke out for peace
and enforced their views with guns and disease
And Freedom Fighters they fought for it all
They made peace by building up walls
And when there were drugs and poverty and crime
they built more prisons to keep the people in line
All were created equal was shouted as a fact
except of course if you were an animal, a tree, or red or black
In Opposite Land, Wisdom was touted as a cause
and so they made you go to school to unlearn Godly laws
The Environment, The World itself is said to be our mother
and so they build some dirty cars and pour pesticides upon her
And Sex is Bad and Money Good and Violence Known and Understood
That's how it is in Opposite Land, in every single neighborhood
Life is said to be so short, almost like a winters day
So Men and Women work all day and throw their entire lives away
It seems strange but such a place exists
and whats more is this is a place people live
But don't worry, friends, that won't happen here
This is the Real World, we have nothing to fear
