I think Pet Sounds is better than Rubber Soul, but Revolver, Sgt. Peppers, and Abbey Road are all better than Pet Sounds (in my opinion) It's obvious The Beatles win in terms of commercial and critical success, but who cares? They are both amazing.

@deaa2325 I could argue easily saying Pet Sounds is better than Sgt Pepper considering that this album is what inspired The Beatles to make Sgt Pepper. But altogether I like The Beach Boys more just because this album

1:46 to 2:25 is a fucking eargasm! and guys this is an amazing album and it might not be matched by sgt pepper but definetly abbey road or rubber soul or revolver match it and could surpass it. and the Beatles over all surpass the beach boys. it was 2 geniuses vs 1.
