This is my 1974 el camino with a 383 stroker motor in it it has a hydraulic roller cam with TrickFlow Aluminum head 195cc with an edelbrock RPM air gap intake

  • What actually blew up ? A piston or did u break a rod ?

  • have you had any problems with your 383? my seemed to get worse and worse until it eventually blew up.... which was kinda cool until i realized how much it was gonna cost me to replace. i dont think ive ever met anyone who liked their 383

  • @mrblackford672 well ive only been driving it now for 2 weeks but no problems besides having to jet up my old carb. but if you engine blew up i would take it back to the guy who assembled it, unless it was your fault likt reving it to 7,000 or a crash course in NOS.

  • @salsa659 well unfortunately i bought it with the car, and it blew up about 4 years after that. im not sure why it would have happened cuz i wasnt doing anything TOO crazy haha.
