One thing is for sure...everyone has their own interpretation of thigs....when america is long gone...some other country will be the super power.

Mystery Babylon is the religion of Babylon meaning the mystery religions i.e. paganism.
They all have their root in the Tower of Babel. The City of Babylon the Great is where these mystery religions are housed. I believe that city will be a rebuilt Babylon.
You cannot go just by one scripture but by the TOTALITY of scripture. God does not contradict Himself, but men do all of the time. There are prophecies concerning literal Babylon that have not been fulfilled as of yet.

He is not talking about "Babylon", he is talking about "Mystery Babylon". Why would the real Babylon be called Mystery Babylon? Its pretty clear Mystery Babylon is something else, thus a Mystery.

they are part of it for sure and i dont think they nwo is going to take off the world but will be defeated and then at some point the end starts

nobody ever suggests that this veers close to what would be considered citation without reference. what is clear is that there is a continuity in the early christian texts and the writings of the prophets in particular.

Don't mean to challenge you, but just seeking more info. I've heard many interpretations of Biblical prophesy that the Whore of Babylon was the Roman Catholic church. You interpret it to be the U.S. I really just want to know more (not being defensive, although I consider myself a proud American) - could you address this issue of Babylon being either Roman Catholic Church or America?

Try this: Forget everything you've ever heard about this. Now read Revelation 17 & 18 realizing the woman, the prostitute and Mystery Babylon are one and the same.
With just the information in these 2 chapters - Can you ID Mystery Babylon today?
Don't use anyone's ideas but your own, based on the Scripture. What do you see? Rev 17-18
