White Girls Win a Step Show

When black people win in a field traditionaly won by whites we all celebrate diversity. When the situation is reversed we have protests and nasty comments. Wow...so advanced.

What I find ironic is that people were out their seats cheering and gave them a standing ovation, yet when they won they were booed. It was a great performance. And all this talk about violating rules, what rules did they violate? Didn't read one statement that outlined those. Unless I missed that somewhere. Credit needs to be given where it's due, regardless of ethnicity.

Hissy fits make me laugh when they try to hide their racism.

Afro-Centric values can suck my junk, it's racism. You can't make "black" acceptable and hate "whitey". That's racism.

Either we're equal or we're not. You don't get a "black" America because "you deserve it". Doesn't work that way.

If you believe their are barriers in modern society to be broken, then vote for anyone who is in favor of welfare/social needs programs, you are a reverse racist. You might not be wearing a hood, but to believe it is essential to "level the playing field" by giving those of a different color than yourself a significant handicap is racist itself.

Is their anything more racist than believing one color of human needs preferential treatment to live in a free society? I think not!!!!!

I understand what you are trying to get at, but many African Americans still live today in socio-economic conditions that are a result of the experiences of their forefathers as slaves. A century really is not that long in a time-frame to remove inequity.

That being said, I think in this instance, it is a question of reverse-racism. Socio-economic factors do not contribute heavily in one's ability to step, in fact, the white team could have been argued to be at a disadvantage.
