I'm an artist, and I HATE it when people touch my work with their potentially dirty fingers. I do watercolour so I leave a white border around all my pieces (from the natural white of the paper) but my teacher hangs it up with thumb tacks, now there are four holes at each of the corners of my border....gawwd... I thought someone was gonna steal it. That was really low. A painting like this could take weeks or months.
