Our Cabin at Starved Rock State Park and Hiking Trails

Discover the scenic side of life at http://Ydstoti.com A favorite Y'dstoti location for hiking, great food, & spending a romantic night away. We were last there on St. Patrick's Day & chose to stay in a deluxe cabin with a King bed & fireplace - complete with free kindling! The hiking trails are fun, well-planned & surprising at the same time. There are look-outs built in just the right places to view the many canyons, streams, & waterfalls. The long wooden stairways to Starved Rock & down to the Illinois River are breathtaking, in more ways than one! There are several dining options available including a cafe, dining room, lounge, & outdoor veranda overlooking the scenic Illinois River. On this trip we decided on the dining room where we enjoyed listening to Irish music to honor the day. The meal was delicious, as were the blueberry pancakes the next morning at breakfast. We are looking forward to returning soon! Y'dstoti!
