You should get a Kaoss pad and add it in the mix. I love them. Nice job though. Love the tune.

@aikighost Sure. Check my other video for a how-to.

@rudeog You could use a roland ms 1 or something for a couple vocal samples. It makes me sad that your esx gathers dust. I use mine for chopping up drums and percussive stuff from records etc.
Cool nonetheless though. The emx is funner as far as quickly coming up with some colorful electro grooves.

Nice setup. Given the choice between the two, which do you favor/use more often? I've been reading up on both and thinking about buying the EMX.

@KINGJTG1000XXX Yes, I'd go with the EMX. My ESX gathers dust for the most part, and I only use it for the occasional sampled vocal.

How are you changing the LFO rates within each pattern, and is that recorded?
meshlife88 4 months ago
@meshlife88 You set the LFO to sync to temp, then use automation recording to record it for the pattern.

Can this thing tell you what key you are playing in? I want to get one so I can play bass and guitar over some beats.
mixolydian671 4 months ago
@mixolydian671 If you are asking whether it can detect what key you are playing (like a guitar tuner), no. If you are asking whether it's fixed, known notes, then the answer is yes. The keys at the bottom are black and white like a piano keyboard, and are set to fixed notes like a piano. You can shift the keyboard up and down in the octaves too.
