Ok finaly i agree (not about the kidd thing vs paker, i don't even discuss it anymore, it seems

we see a playmaker from a totaly differnt angle,

so for you it'd 1: parker 2: d-will 3: c.paul

and 4(if not on the list) kidd, for me it's

1kidd,2d-will,3c.paul and 4(yes i put him in my list, he is not my favourite, but i like him) t.parker).

so above i said i finally agree and i mean, that yes he deserves a cover, no one can disagree with that.

I agree with you that a ring doesn't make the player, but I do think that it is part of it. And Parker destroys Kidd when they play. It's not even a challenge. Jason Kidd is a name, plain and simple. Deron Williams, Tony Parker, and Chris Paul are all better. And if you watch the Spurs, you know that Tony Parker is the head of the snake when it comes to the Spurs. He's the leader of a team who has won 4 titles in 9 years...I would say that deserves a cover.

yes is very important, but without it, it doesn't mean you are not a good player...

for example LeBron, Kidd, Paul, Williams and Garnett (before he had won this one), aren't good players?

or Barkley and Ewing (i suppose you refered to them because they havn't got a ring) aren't almost perfect players?

and you can't tell "tony (or anybody else)won a championship" no one has won a championship.

you can tell that tony was extraordinary in last years finals, but he didn't won himself...

I'm not saying they don't have great players..I'm just saying that the NBA has 3 different brands of basketball games, and they don't want to copy each other.

b)Yes..they only had 2 people, but they took over the Finals. They, what happened when one was missing? HUGE collapse. They needed each other. Tony had been on the French cover several times. It was his time.

but dont say that soccer (i am from greece, where we call football, you are probably from us?) hasnt hundreds of great players (obviously you and generaly in us dont watch a lot of soccer) so dont make me start writing pages of players. But nba has also dozens of good players and agree with that. i will also agree if you say tha Ronnie is the most famous thats why he is on all these covers

OK..here's the deal..yes, I'm a Parker fan, but I'm also a Kidd fan, and the bottom line is, Parker is a better overall player. You obviously don't watch the Spurs much...Parker won a LOT of games with his passing before he was a shooter. He didn't get his shot down until the last couple of years.

1)NBA works differently than soccer. With so many stars, you can't put a guy on covers every year. With the competition, no one wants to reuse other companies spokesmen.

2)Tony = 3 rings, Wade = 1.

i don't even compare kidd to parker. believe me there is no need. and i repeat "KIDD IS THE ONLY NBA PLAYER, WHO CAN WIN A GAME WITHOUT SCORING". He has the best "Unpredictable passing". No need to compare him to parker...

Tony Parker destroys Jason Kidd every time they play. It's not even a contest. Ever since the Spurs thought of getting Kidd and trading Parker, he has absolutely killed him every time, and that makes him better.

1)Kobe is the greatest marketed player, and one of the best players in the game, no doubt, but he was on Live '08.

2)Wade didn't play well, and his team didn't play well. That doesn't lead towards game covers.

3)Lebron wanted WAY too much money. He doesn't want to be on game covers.
