This game like GREAT, better then ever, but I have a problem. I dont think this is mortal kombat 9 but a brand new mortalkombat (like a rebot or remake). if this is part 9 the makers choose specific characters to play akey role in the storylines in the game. Like Boon said, Its the celebration of the frist three MK games (1,2,3) soo part 4,5,6,7 and MKvsDC storys/ending dosen't apply in the NEW game's STORYLINE. ( I can soo bet money on that) GREAT VIDEO tho man PACE OUT

It was confirmed that the game is not a reboot, and as far as the story goes, there will be a lot of time traveling.
The game is looking great so far, cant wait to get my hands on it. :)
