Youth Retention

My priority is to make sure young people are going to be able to stay here in the province. I think there are many reasons for this. We put an end to the story that has been the history of nova Scotia. Young people going down the raod to other parts of this country to other jurisdictions, that’s why we put in place the graduate retention tax credit that’s why we want to build the kinds of families supporting jobs that will help young people to stay here in the province. We have a demographic juggernaught that is facing this province. We are going to have one quarter of our population over the age of 65 by 2025. We desperately need to keep young people in this province we need them to build their lives here, raise their families here, and participate in our economy.
