  • I wish they left the intro in. Really sets the mood of the rest of the song, it takes away from the atmosphere to leave it out. It's a good contrast to the high-speed tremolos of the rest of the song.

  • this is real grim black metal, nowadays most of the bands are shit. BM is dead in 1994. RIP

  • @MetalheadsSuckAss You are right man...

  • @sonne666ful atmospheric, dark,morbid,ambient, spine chilling

  • @mahamrityumjay Atmospheric???

  • the intro is so atmospheric

  • sounds A LOT better without vocals

  • @MetalheadsSuckAss No way, look at Leviathan, hes American even. Lots of good bands nodays

  • @ih8pinkos Dissection made SOTLB in 95, gotta be one of my favourite metal albums.

  • Euronymous had the grimmest guitar playing. I remember Fenriz giving him credit for the fast pitching, defining black metal.

  • @MetalheadsSuckAss id say it started dying around that time, but a couple bands had good albums past that. gorgoroth made antichrist and under the sign of hell after 94. but then they sucked.
