NS 235 on the CF&E

NS train 235 heads westbound on the Chicago Ft. Wayne & Eastern track through the heart of downtown Valparaiso. I got a phone call from a friend telling me he just called the dispatcher at Sturdy Rd. Crossing, which os only a few miles away. So I hauled ass running 5 blocks south to end up waiting for almost 10 minuets. It pays off to pay attention; I had forgot that the trackspeed had been decreased from 40 to 25. When I first head the horn I had my fingers crossed that it sounded like an SD70. When I saw his headlights I sighed in dissapointment, just two more catfish. Ohh well, its a good catch and how often do you see a Class I railroad running an intermodal train over a shortline with jointed rail!

@iceman977th Not EVERY day but something like maybe every other day. This line MAX would see three trains in 24 hrs, this the manifest and a local, but the chances of having three trains on this line in a 24 hour period is close to impossible.
