  • That is my opinion and IT WILL NOT CHANGE AFTER LIVING IN 22 DIFERENT CITIES IN THE US.

  • @mablanc1 And I am happy that you are happy with where you are. I am a small town guy and I have lived in some very large cities, some bigger than Houston, and I am never happy until I am back to the small town that I came from. No crime, low prices and always a friendly face. Back there they don't call it a freeway, it is the interstate.

  • Best city ever to raise a family!!!!!

  • @mablanc1 Well, I am happy that you are happy here but having lived in other cities, I am compelled to say that Houston is not the best to raise a family. There is far, FAR too much government and business corruption, crime, narcotics and violence. While Houston may not be particularly worse than other cities of it's size, it falls far short of the values of small town America. There are problems everywhere but I was raised in a smaller town in life there is MUCH better.

  • @exenrontexas I like how small towns have great communities and people, but it seems like it would get loney despite the fact that there are lots of people out there. I mean, I like big cities and small towns, but they both have their downsides. I want to move to a big city when I grow up (but not too big) because there are so many things, people, and opportunites, but small towns offer a life that's away from crime with less people and opportunties. Maybe I will move to a medium sized city! :D

  • @cannedshoes I am thankful that we live in a country where each individual can make those decisions for themselves and given a little luck and some effort can make a life for themselves in either place. There is a lot more money in large cities and more social interaction but I have already had all the social interaction I need and now am looking for the peace that I might find in a rural life.
