It's too late for this particular dog, but those reading this should know that it is not a wise idea to play with any puppy or cat for that matter with your hands. It teaches them that fingers are toys and that it's ok to nip, or in a more aggressive animal, to bite. Especially dangerous if there are children present in the household, who often will put their fingers near dog's mouths, unaware of the danger.
