ESRB rating system, banned games & the state of it

I suspect that the one year difference is because 18 is the age of legal adulthood in the USA for just about everything... except beer. It is basically the gaming version of NC-17 or (if you are old enough) X. 17 is basically an R rating.

The ESRB is not a government comp, its just a small hall of jack asses that hate games so it someone made a differnt rating comp they could get shut up >.>

I only hate them for online ratings couse they have only one fucking rating game play may change online X.x; thx buddy im only trading >.>

Dont put a rating if im going to buy a voilent game and im 7 years old its the parents not the company that need to take charge

@bloodvein, I agree, i'm also real annoyed at how they put the fucking ratings. IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING!!

well i somewhat agree with this. first, i am annoyed how esrb rates games inproperly. they rated a game with mature when it was ectually teen and second, in some way it is the parents responsibility to watch what their kids play but some parents DO take it too far
