If you don't want to read a short essay on why these two characters are absolutely flawless and why should watch this show, you should stop reading. I tried to make the video try to show how perfect John and Aeryn are, but unfortunately that's a really hard thing to capture in under three minutes and this is barely a summary. For anyone wondering why parts of it are weirdly off to the side, it's because the first three seasons weren't shot in widescreen so instead of zooming and ruining the quality and beautiful cinematography of the show I just used feathering and had fun. Also there are totally spoilers.

Farscape is a science fiction television show that aired from 1999 to 2003, only the be cancelled because somebody hates good things and wants to see the world drift into darkness, and then in 2004 a three hour movie was released to give closure. The obvious love story of the whole of the show are these two right here, and they will change the way you watch tv couples. They will redefine shipping for you. I mean it. From the first moment you see them, they have immediate chemistry and it's obvious that they'll eventually get together. It seems like a trope, they have a will-they-or-won't-they vibe- she's the badass soldier who doesn't know how to love and he's the fish-out-of-water human who's just been shot through a wormhole and just wants to go home- but the way they grow together and separately is absolutely mind blowing. You'll watch four stunning seasons of these two characters realize how much they love each other but be kept apart by both forces they can't control and themselves. John and Aeryn, as well as every single character and relationship explored, have little moments that make you smile and laugh, as well as moments that will rip into you and leave you emotionally devastated. Farscape has an amazing sense of humour combined with a huge capacity for emotion. You'll get attached to every single character no matter what your first impressions are and each episode will leave you laughing, crying and wondering how one single show could be so creative. It's easily my favourite TV show of all time, and I strongly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

i don't even know farscape but like this is the greatest thing ever and so many ~emotions and just, the end, "planets bend between us," "do you love aeryn sun" "beyond hope" and just I am flailing and this makes no sense but it was beautiful, so gorgeous. you have an amazing sense of how to structure a video, and this was flawless like always. everything is beautiful and nothing hurts. off to watch this show!
