Hengband Speedrun Part 1

Trying out this free screen capture software, CamStudio. I've been monkeying with some speedruns in Hengband, and I hope to make it through the Cloning pits in under an hour here on YouTube. My record is currently 40:37 with a Beastman Berserker. The hardest part is clearing Old Man Willow... it's fairly suicidal, but luckily my first attempt with CamStudio brings exceedingly great luck, and I survive Old Man Willow immediately after having suicided my last character who cleared Old Man Willow who you briefly see at the beginning of the video. (It's rare to have back to back Old Man Willow victories). In any case, this is a Golem Berserker with a Standard Setup, (I think).

I really don't know much about Hengband, and playing a Berserker really only forces me to stick to a few rules. I doubt I could ever win with a "real" character. I fantasize about Samurais and Aglarang, but then I remember I can double the damage output with one of these badboys. I have a berserker Entroband winner, which is pretty much the same as Hengband.
