Shouldn't the AI die at exactly the same point every time?

Something broken with this version of the AI. The first goal is to survive, not to move right, so i'm not sure why it's just plowing straight through enemies.

I'm sorry, but it does not looks like really Robin's A* implementation. More over software for the level generation looks like a bit different from the one used for Mario AI Competition 2009, are you sure agent gets accurate information about floating point coordinates of creatures, it's crucial point for Robin's A* agent. You should have seen the video where Mario follows the pointer, but here he just dies for nothing even where there some obvious and A* searchable in short time solutions!

is it just me or does this AI just 'get lucky' a lot.
It doesn't seem to be avoiding damage at all.
