This is what Sarah Palin and the Republicans want for the US: a religious theocracy that relies on "prophets" and "oracles" for political advice. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! Tina Fey reprised her role as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live, again appearing as the Republican vice presidential candidate in an opening sketch.

Saturday nights show — the third of the season for the NBC Joe Biden comedy program — brought back the season premiere tandem of Fey and Amy Poehler, who opened the season with a memorable sketch featuring Fey as Palin and palin biden debate Poehler as Hillary Clinton.

This time around, Poehler played CBSs Katie Couric, parodying the interview with Palin earlier this week. Poehler, though, mostly played straight man to Fey, who ratcheted up her performance of Sen. John McCains running mate by satirizing her foreign affairs experience

  • Whoever posted this is a bonehead.

  • Just because the LLama has had an exremely long lifespan and has spread peace/prosperity around the world doesn't mean you have to hate him. Stalin was NOT premier of the Soviet Union during 1959. This was not posted by the "New York Times" AND Russia was not a country until 1990. Get your facts straight before you try and hate people who disagree with your gun-toting hard-lining views.

  • don't be mean with the fellow who upload this video, when you have little or no knowledge about something its more likely to be wrong about things. Its harder to understand the world when one is misinformed. we should try to look both sides always and make decisions , obviously this guy have only one side of the facts.

  • I don't have any opinion about the Dalai Lama one way or the other, but this video is baffling -- what on earth is this person's point?

  • @cruiscinlan I was also wondering what this has to do with Sara Palin. Then I read the words just under the screen, ("This is what Sarah Palin and the Republicans want for the US: a theocracy that relies on "prophets" and "oracles"....etc. CHECK) This would be BAD, of course -- but I think that Sarah Palin & conservative Republicans are mainly interestd in PROFITS, not "prophets". And they'll get these PROFITS any wa they can! S.P. is the "Sweetheart of the New World Order"...for sure!

  • Nobody is perfect. Martin Luther, who showed up corruption in the Medaevil church, was also an anti-semite. Hyman Rickover-- the first Jew in modern times to reach the rank of Admiral, and a man of honour for most of his life, yet was caught embezzeling towards the end of it. Mother Theresa was accused of only helping people 2 die comfortably, not to learn skills to make a living. The Dali Lama may not be perfect....but I see him as a man of faith who values freedom -- OK in my book!

  • Headline is highly deceptive: this is neither a video about Sarah Palin supporting theocracy nor something from Saturday Night Live. Please be honest in naming your videos.

  • too much to read, in fact I got my scientific american in the bathroom. bye.

  • what does this have to do with sara palin?

  • No I dont as of yet, all I have is a dog.

And as for the future leaders of the world, they ask the question "is skateboarding a crime"?

  • When i saw the part about the popes i thought "thats cuz they keep on dying!"
