The Red Herring performance at the end is manipulated too, though not in time; you only see about half the dance, and the closeups that are cut in are from different figures than the long shots. (I only had one camera!) But I took advantage of knowing how the dances work so it looks reasonably natural.

Yes, there is a bunch of time manipulation in this video, largely to make the music and the images go together better. It's really a case of making lemons out of lemonade; the audio that I recorded with a lot of the dancing wasn't usable (partly because of distance, partly due to technical limitations of the camera I had at the time), so I went for artistic effect instead.

This was Dave Stryker's last Mayday on the Charles. It's so wonderful to see him striding about in The Hat. (And yes, that's me with the dragon.)
