You should've used rubber cement on the cap. I've done it. You can use it down a pipe and it shoots up like a mortar. And yes, shaking does help.

all you do is drop them in no need to shake it just put them in your hand and drop them into the bottle it makes a geyser not a bomb if you want to make a bomb with it get warm water and dry ice =|
