The footage is from the "hey Joe" music video but with "all along the watchtower" on the musical background.

Absolutely right.
I am a bit of an expert about this, it was hard to get left handed strats, in fact they were extremely rare in the UK at that time, so Jimi Hendrix was a left handed player who played a right handed strat - they just couldn't get any other strat at that time.
The video shows Hendrix playing a left handed strat right handed, when in fact he played a right handed strat left handed.
