  • @lokalllize IDK, but I think it is cheaper to make than to buy. To buy: its sometime difficult to find, for me I have 15 mile drive to my nearest Indiana grocery (which is the only place that has it) and it cost around $4-$5 for about half as much. She sure makes it seem easy to make, I think I'm going to try it.

  • @magakee Interesting that you were able to use 2% milk bc I guess I thought that it is the milk fat that makes the paneer, ie if you use 2% you will get a much smaller amount of actual paneer from a gallon of milk. Was that your experience?

Did it taste the same? I really want to try this but I don't want to waste a gallon of milk --I have never made it before, but I love love love it.

  • @veenanairxp21 Your welcome.. -But put too much salt. the paneer won't taste great-

  • i didnt know how easy it is to make cottage cheese thanks

  • I love this recipe and so does my family! I actually used 2% milk and added salt afterwards. It was great none the less :)

  • I haven't tried this recipe yet, but I just have to ask- does it change anything if I put salt in it? Is it salty enough without salt?
