  • I really wished Lupe made a short movie about this track. Great album, classic.

  • @iSkyexx yes i definitely agreed.... a message in the song

  • @OuttoLunch2552 he died at october 5th

  • @xXLogicalArgumentsXx No disrespect, but OtherSideOfSanity is correct. "The Streets" IS a devilish girl and is married to "The Game" (which is basically the Devil) Since Food and Liquor Lupe has described the life of Michael Young History (My Cool Young History a.k.a. "The Cool") and His affair with "The Streets" The Cool album just goes into more detail of the story .. Thats why Lupe is the greatest and The Cool is the best album ever. Listen to Real Recognize Real my man

  • A brief history for first-time viewers,The Streets are a fictional seductress who lures young men to her side. She promises them money, fame, and respect. She's depicted as a beautiful woman, who's in reality a demon in a dress. She's the main lover of The Game, but is known to be intimate with all those who take her offer of working her, the streets. The Game is a man with a skull as a head, and dollar signs for eyes. He represents the drugs, the dealers, etc. He's been the downfall of many men

  • @OuttoLunch2552

This vid was uploaded in Sept 2010, a year before he died. Brilliant picture, that.

  • @MzArielWilliams Disagree with what OtherSideOfSanity says

I believe it's about the government/this corrupt democracy which we call home. I believe the song is very similar to 1984 (if you've read that).

The "disease" that can't be stopped and leaves no mark is a totalitarian government.

We can EASILY see that it is talking about some sort of dystopia/controlling force in the SECOND VERSE.

The first verse is ... well I believe it's also talking about a dystopia, but that's more of a stretch

  • @MzArielWilliams in a way yea it does talk about hiv

  • Woohoo So can someone tell me what this song is about? Is it about Hiv/Aids? (Im bad at trying to figure out what songs mean)

  • This song is amazing. The lyrics are pure genius. This song goes in deep with the truth about issue's the world faces. Amazing song.
