This beautiful boardwalk weaves through a cedar swamp out to several ponds full of life. It is located in the foothills of the Adirondacks in upstate New York and is constructed of White Cedar lumber using double pealed cedar railings and cedar sticks. This project was completed in the fall of 2010 and took about 4 months to finish. Special thanks to "The Great One" Donal Carpenter for his help and craftsmanship and to Brian Judge for his expert saw mill work.
Beautiful mix of sound and image! I hope this area escaped storm damage this weekend. Hope I can visit someday.
