2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Exhaust

Here is my 2005 ST, Taz, sporting it's one-month old single-in, dual-out 50 Series Flowmaster exhaust.

(Before anyone asks, this is just a muffler plus the tips.. Absolutely no oxygen sensors, and/or catalytic converters were harmed in the adding of this exhaust. All stock emissions components, just the muffler and tips)

'01 Explorer Sport and '05 Sport Trac have the same 4.0L engine (unless you've got the V8). Anyway, tips are 3".

i got single in and dual out 40 series flows on my 01 sport but mine sounds lil bit different compared to urs

That's more than likely due to the fact that you have a different muffler. The 40 series is identical internally, but the 50 series (what I have) is longer, and so it is quieter, and has less drone than the 40 series.

For more accurate sound, listen to it via headphones. Computer speakers will/may not play the audio quite as well as a generic set of iPod, or MP3 headphones will..

@TheMachingbird i have an 05 sport trac 4.0L engine do you know if a cold air intake for a 2001-2004 sport trac will fit the 05 sport trac?
