Thank you. I love the photograph, and I love the documentary. Whenever this iconic photo is described, the date "10:00 on an August morning, 1958" is the date given. Does anyone know the exact date?

I also have seen this movie many times and is a must see for any lover of jazz which is one of the few truly american art forms

This is one of the best films on jazz ever made. I wish I had a dollar for every time that I've watched this. I ended up buying an original dvd of this from a company in Japan. The Sound of Jazz is the proto-type and also a must have, it's also available on dvd.
