This is one of the best films on jazz ever made. I wish I had a dollar for every time that I've watched this. I ended up buying an original dvd of this from a company in Japan. The Sound of Jazz is the proto-type and also a must have, it's also available on dvd.
I found a poster sized print of this picture when I was in Harlem in 2008. It was a glorious day.

I also have seen this movie many times and is a must see for any lover of jazz which is one of the few truly american art forms
