Music: "Mess" by Anamanaguchi

My work utilizes visual information I encounter. Through the process of wall painting, this visual information become personal nostalgic symbols which concern the nature of religious imagery: therianthropy, psychedelic forms, my own family origins and the use of psychedelics as a remedy/medicine for one's mind.

I am expanding my visual language, building a contemporary vernacular that isn't necessarily supposed to be deciphered but experienced by the viewer.

I collect, appropriate and recreate visually "available" online images, transforming them into personal expressions of multiple ideas and fascinations. Slowly, I develop a repetitive language with cute and disturbing characters, garish colors, executed as a flat rendering.
