As a very rare example of a well-documented multiple case from the pre-Eve and -Sybil era, someone should research a write a thorough book or article about this case. Has someone already done so?

This is a very interesting video, but I can't believe the things the therapists did to her. Making that poor woman bleed is unbelievable and borderline abusive...it really upsets me how this happened in the past.

Usually, we have become so used to trying to appear normal that people cannot see the transitional cues. People DO NOT notice others switching usually.

mpd is NOT a disorder. it’s a defense mechanism of the mind to have the ability to take extreme trauma and separate it from the main part of the mind until that person is able to deal with that trauma,
When the mind stores trauma that part of the mind don’t age, for example if there was heavy trauma at 4 years old. That part of the mind stays at 4 even when the person is 20 years old.
I know people with DID and they are very nice and smart people

@dictionar1 We find that sticking her with pins is so hard to comprehend. Rightly so but that is one of the least things they do. These presciouse people have gone through so much abuse and actual torture that it would mess with your mind to actually hear the reality of it. Hense them becoming multiples they had to split in order to survive because if they hadn't they would of died and that is the truth. The human mind can only take so much. I admire genuine multiples for getting up each day.
Not so scary when you're familiar with it. It doesn't have to be 'insane' or anything.

People with DID are not lab rats to be "studied". They don't have it to show people things from "a different point of view" either. This is sort of insenitive.
