Bulked up to 270 lb. dieted down to 205 lb didnt keep track of max squats and didnt do dead lifts. Was ripped at 235 lb but kept dieting and cardio. Something else everyone needs to be aware of , it can turn into an eating disorder, and it almost did for me.
@01po01po I have read many articles(scholar/peer reviewed) on it and I assure you in the first 20 minutes the body doesnt just focus on carbs only. The rule of thumb is that the human body will ALWAYS burn a combination of fat and carbs, though you could be correct if a higher percentage of carbs than fat are burned during the 20 minutes?(not sure about that..) That is an impressive amount of weight but how much do you weigh? Can you tell me what your squats and deadlift numbers are at?
@RSixBoy you are right. you have to burn more calories than you take in. What I am also saying is when a person does cardio for fat burning the best way is fast slow fast slow routine. but with that said, it is a rule of thumb that the human body burns the immediate carbs for around 20 min. before switching to fat stores for fuel. Dont take my word for it., get books and read it for yourself. I lost 75 lb in 6 months. I bench press 315 lb. so go read before calling bull shit...
@de1dezire The only way to get abs/see abs is dieting, all the situps and crunches in the world, you will not see your abs without the correct calorie intake for an individual. if your question about cardio is to lose weight, you have to do at least 45 min of cardio. The first 20 min. of any cardio routine burns carbs, before your body starts to tap into your fat storage for fuel. The best thing to do is read and educate yourself. Also it takes 20 days, for a body to respond to any diet change.

@01po01po thats horseshit, there is no specific "after 20 minutes you burn fat until then its all carbs". Its cals in = cals out plus more.

Do you have any suggestions for how to tighten the inner thigh? I've been working at it but I thought you might have some fun ideas!
Thank you!
