Nice work.
What software did you track the shot with?
-
This is really awesome! How long did it take you to learn this?
JBH-FILMS

hard works, great

@monstemoralez I thing that I learned is that I have to match the FPS between the live action plate and the animation. other than that everything will stick in place. But!!!!!!! how can I track the sky? like if I want to view a jet fly over my head.
-
@monstemoralez i cant not picture what you are saying, but kinda, what do you mean by paint a STROKE? is this a key word that i should do more research on?
-
@AtlantiXYL For a movie like transformers or any film, they usually roto with a lot of edge feathering/opacity, Sometimes they'll paint a stroke and animate the curve points of that stroke. It all depends what software you are using. They all have different tools and methods for approaching such an issue.

let me send you a video, a premade animation. but imagine there will be a tree. I need to remove it.
-
@monstemoralez can you show me a website about that. because, there are so many location I can shoot around my home, but trees really bothers me. when I watch transformer 2, the fight scene in the forest really makes me jealous, how they do it? when the camera is moving and the stuff behind it still looks right.

OR
For a shot with a lot of crazy camera motion do a 3D camera matchmove, select a good frame you want, paint that matte and re-project it on to geometry you make for that one frame(deleting all camera animation to just the one frame), while the 3d matchmoved camera continues to move around like normal. so a single frame reprojected onto geometry saves countless hours of roto or paint. The geometry has to be in a perfect 3d worldspace.
I hope this helps!

I got this question. I do people work with hair, grass, and trees, in live action plate, paint it or what? I find trouble doing trees. have hard time blocking them. masking them
