These pancakes are a dessert treat in Denmark, especially popular around the holidays. The chef is Arne Hansen of Solvang, and owner of Aebleskiver.com!

  • why not show how to make this from regular ingredients rather than a mix?

  • One æbleskive. Two æbleskiver.

  • Thank you, Chef Arne. I bought a nice pan for the stove and an electric pan for travel. Your lesson here is PERFECT. I got great results and I now claim that I must have Danish ancestors. Thanks again!

  • He rocks at making these!!! :D

  • man kan sgu godt høre du fra Danmark :)

  • Our guests have loved these - Aebelskiver are terrific!

  • The method passed down through my family only flipped them once. A full 180 degree flip and that was it, done all the way around and round. All the videos I've seen so far flip them in stages, I can see benefits if you are stuffing them, but we didn't, just the sugar coating and toppings.

  • Thank you, love this video <3

  • Dear Chef Arne,

When each time we visit cousins for a family gathering in Monterey, we pass through Solvang. However, it's always too late or too early to go to your restaurant, and sample these treats.

So we very much look forward to the day when our timing is better, and sit down to a "Chef Arne Feast" at the Solvang Restaurant! All the best thought to you and yours... Lad os spise! :>

    Carol and Michael :>

  • Wooo i just went to the Solvang Restaurant and LOVED IT!!! Thanks Chef Arne :)
