Chris, maybe watch your video again. You specifically mentioned USC players you said it twice. You never mentioned Illinois players. USC does its talking on the field. The Illini couldn't shut their mouths for two weeks. At Lawries, and Disneyland, the Illini players were taunting USC players. The USC players just ignored it. Illini players could not stop the bad mouthing. maybe the USC taunting was a reaction to all the Illini trash talk during the weeks leading up to the game.

He says "you know" 27 times in this video. THAT'S annoying.
Face it, football is not a classy event. Never has been, never will be. If you don't want to see "pointing fingers" perhaps you should change the channel to a dog show or manners competition.
Sorry you're sore about the loss. At least you care. *shrugs*

You are absolutely correct about this lack of sportsmanship from USC. It has been going on for some time, since Reggie Bush was there. USC has some friends in the Pac-10 administration, so the Pac-10 doesn't quite enforce this sportsmanship, but the Rose Bowl officials were from the Big East, which is why we finally saw these penalties called.
Unsportsmanlike Conduct (ironically, the official abbreviation for this penalty is a "USC Penalty") is a 15-yard penalty.

This guy is a jackass. Go flip some pancakes. Your analytic skills are whack. First of all, it's a 15 yard penalty, not a 5 yard penalty. Second of all, the Illini players did just as much taunting. They got plenty of 15 yard penalties. And players are cocky and need manners? How about fans? They do ACTUAL harassment of players. Last time I signed something, the guy just shoved the helmet in my face.

The fact is your no-fight Illini shouldn't have been there to begin with. The old fogies at the RoseBowl did you guys a huge unjust favor picking your lousy team. I wish we played Georgia instead, I bet they wouldn't have been the whiners you and other Illini posters turned out to be.

USC may have tauted but at least they weren't classless cowards. Illini comitted late hits all game long, many while a Trojan had turned his back. You got your rears handed to you and now you want to cry about taunting when your Illini acted far worese, like cowards.

Talk about sour grapes...you can thank God that Pete Carroll is such a class act, USC COULD HAVE SCORED ON THAT LAST DRIVE AND BROKEN A ROSE BOWL RECORD! Yes, there was some unsportsmanlike behavior, and yes, PC did address it in a news release. Live with the fact that Illinois was blown out of the water, at least you got to the Rose Bowl - after your past 5 seasons that is enough to be very proud of. Good luck.
i find this annoying also, its bad sportsmanship, u see this most in basketball and more and more in baceball now, athletes need to act professional and not as kids

You didn't see the Illinois guy throw the ball at the USC band member? Don't blame all the taunting on USC players.Illinois players started taunting the week before at Disneyland. Even before they hit the field! Our players did nothing while listening to the taunts of the Illini. Also the Illinois offensive line was talking crap to our defensive line the entire first half. I don't agree with taunting and our players are doing it. Illinois players were doing just as much if not more.

i was talking about sportmanship by both teams, i wasn't limiting it to one team. i mentioned usc penalties after touchdowns and i mentioned taunting a band member...that's both teams. and most of all, i mean all sports!!!!!!!!
