This investigation describes and demonstrates a novel technique for the visualization of magnetic fields. Using a lens with a micron thin layer of sandwiched ferro fluid to map external magnetic fields via optic affects of the field on the magnetic fluid. Red, yellow and green radial LED's are spaced evenly; facing inward into the edge of the lens. The light from the LED's warps around the magnets as it passes through the fluid.

This is the two magnet version with the non-pole sides mostly facing the camera.

  • where can i buy one of these hele shaw cells with ferro fluid in it?

  • cool

  • I found this video from your, this is one to which I was interested, SN NS and NS NS; but I see that it upset all the study done up to it, with regard to lines of force of the magnetic field.

In your video shows, new lines of magnetic field absolutely perpendicular (90 degrees) compared to those notes. You open an unknown universe, you have revealed the existence of new lines of magnetic field.

Now we must add the well-known lines and your and then we have an answer, and many more to follow.
