Its a shakurian ship that has a shielding system which can block anything but phaser\disruptor fire.

To be able to not receive damage- it is sometimes so very much fun :)

i use to be pretty quick on all those commands but I haven't played this is ages

game use to crash like mad on my rig

do not overwrite qbships.txt btw, just find a place to "ADD" the new line into ka folder's qbships.txt .

If your downloaded ships are executionary files, beware!

they may automatically overwrite your original ka installation directory!

One that I had to step-by-step to keep from doing just that was scimitar.exe.

You will have to do these step by step or you can destroy the original install. By the way, you will also need to have the patch 1.02 before you can add ships. Good luck!

Open your ka folder in a seperate window:

you will see folders for ships, textures, scripts:

those are the three to focus on.

First open ka 'scripts' folder and open file 'qbships.txt' and leave it open in background:

(If dwnloaded ships files are zipped, first unzip them) Copy and paste respective ship folder(s) into ka 'ships' folder, their respective textures into ka 'texture' folder:

Look for a text file in each downloaded ship's folder that says qbships.txt paste into open qbships.txt.
