  • I would make a great Radiologist, because I love radios.

I listen to my radio, more than I do my TV and my wife - and mother-in-law.

  • Radiologists can make WAY more than $500K in some parts of the country. Interventional Radiologist are generally the highest earners.

  • Did this guy just say 12 years of my life in school!

  • @simbared If you are looking for a specific place, I live in Richmond, IN and radiologists start here at $500k +. The city is only about 50k people, so it's not always about size. Pretty much the best I can tell is that if the town has absolutely no tourist draws, i.e. the weather sucks, nothing to do etc., you will probably make more simply because would you want to live in a boring place if you made half a million dollars a year?

  • @andriod1234 true, but it's VERY RARE though. most of these people who has 30 years+ of experience get paid approximately between 450K-590K. getting paid 750K a year is like a once in a life time situation. at least in kaiser permanente it is.

  • @redghost105 Yes, I'm talking about the U.S. Since compensation is directly related to volume in our fee-for-service system, a radiologist in a busy practice can make a lot more than $500K per year. Generally speaking, this would mean the practice would be in the larger and more densly populated cities.

  • @simbared what parts of the country would this be? and im guessing your talking about some parts of U.S.A are making 500+ ?

  • @rabbit220 spoken like a true failure.

  • If you get in as partner with a private imaging center you can make around 750k a year.

  • @zetch1411 The trick word in this response is "earn." No radiologist actually "earns" 500 K a year. They may "make" 500 K but they actually "earn" about half that much.
