  • Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

    Romans 1:26-27

  • Exactly brother "because of this", beacause of their worpship of pagan gods, and notice the reference to lust, none to love.

  • Why did God give them to homosexuality as a punishment though? That's what I'm wondering. If it's not necessarily wrong when in the right context, why did he give them over to it?

  • Because "it" was permisuous sex, not a loving, commited relationship. He could have also "given them over" to premiscuous heterosexual sex, and the historal context shows us this was cultic sex in particular.

  • If it was just referring to the lust and promiscuousness, it wouldn't have said that men and women "abandoned" the ***natural*** way, and ***instead*** had lust for ***one another***...

It would have said they abandoned their "natural way of lifelong commitment"...

I'm sorry, but it clearly means that it is unnatural for a man to be with a man and a woman to be with a woman, and you'd have to be in denial about it, and trying to justify your own opinions, to reach your conclusion...

  • I read Romans 1 and I conclude that Paul is telling us that we are, by our nature, ALL sinners and are lost without God.

  • God does not exclude anyone gay r not for He loves the sinner but not the sin, so the church is where a sinner starts their journey in becoming a Christian by studying Gods Holy Word to learn whats right and whats wrong in living ones life to Please God, not ourselves.

  • The problem is not Jesus' failure to specify homosexual practice as a sin, but rather the problem is that mans' pagan desires have not changed in 2000 years, and yet those same men would use that gap in time and culture as an excuse for their actions. Jesus knew what the future held. If He wanted to make an exception for homesexual acts, he would have done so. He did not do so.

All men, gay or straight, must submit to Christ and leave all for Him.

  • So Christians against modern "pro-gay Christians" are reading into the text something that was never there, but you are not doing the same when you apply unwritten and assumed exceptions and conditions that are not in the text, but that you would claim exempts modern day homosexuality from it?

  • I live in Ft Lauderdale. The "avg gay man" here sleeps around. As I used to in NY and CA and FL. The average gay man isn't seeking a life with Christ as his center, anymore than the average heterosexual is. Homosexuals as well as heterosexuals are both just as likely to seek out sexual sin. We all STILL need Christ. Get Jesus first and worry about the gay stuff later. Excellent video Brother.

  • he thinks hes so intelligent, what a retard

  • weirdo, lol

  • I thank you for this video. It's good to know that there are other Christians out there who believe the same way I do.

  • A+ for ignorance. I am 100% straight Einstein.

I couldn't choose to be gay of I wanted to. Could you? Gay people can't choose to desire the opposite sex and most still don't after prayer and therapy. This should clue you in to the fact that Jesus Christ does not agree with you on this issue.
