In this clever project, two students at Northeastern University used the light sensor in the Machine Science Breadboard Starter Kit to create a "break beam" detector. They positioned a pen cap over the light sensor, and then illuminated the cap with a laser pointer. Whenever an object breaks the beam, an audible alarm sounds!
