Even though theyre both great i can still say that Sasha is very charismatic on the ice .. :)

Maturity and class. Michelle Kwan also shows this through her. Competency. Yes she does. Sasha has been through it all with her artistry and her passion, but competency? I didn't see it. However I would like to see less and less of the comparison between Sasha and Michelle. They are different skaters, and they can't always have a conflict with the perception of how one would want their figure skater to be as of. However when it coms to rivalry, Michelle trumps Sasha on that.

At age 13 Michelle finished 4th in U.S. and 8th at the world championships age 14 2nd U.S. and 4th at Worlds and won both at age 15. She was World Champion 5 times.2nd twice, 4th twice, 8th once. 2nd best record of any woman figure skater after Sonjia Hennie. She was U.S Champion 9 times, 2nd twice, 4th, Olympics 2nd,3rd,Alt. Sasha Olympics 2nd, 4th Worlds2nd twice, 4th twice,3rd.U.S. 1st once,2nd 4 times, 3rd once. So more often winner Kwan based on actual judges. Still like Sasha too though

@HowsaBowsaYowsa Occasional falls???? Are you on crack???? She has never completed two programs (short and long) cleanly without a fall EVER. That's not occasional, that's every place she's completed. If you can't skate cleanly any time you compete that's the problem....you're just an over obsessed Sashatwat fan like all of them, and I'm not a big Michelle fan but at least she landed her jumps most of the time, DUMBASS!

The real difference between Sasha and Michelle is this: Sasha pushed the limits of the sport and paid a price with occasional falls that effected her scores. Michelle basically skated relatively safe programs which allowed her to stay on her feet more often. But 99 percent of the time Sasha was on the ice, her technical and artistic talents blew Michelle out of the water. That's is the real difference.

I feel sorry for Sasha Cohen. She actually could've won many gold medals if she lowered her technical difficulty down a bit. I admire her for not performing what seems to be such basic routines. Like, at the '03 Worlds she did an inside-edge camel spin and fell, and that certainly had to have destroyed her confidence. I wonder if she would've won if she just did a plain camel spin and not have fallen on a triple salchow. It seems people presume that spins are easy and that they're all alike.

Michelle surpassed skating records.
Sasha? only one. Only time Sasha won was when Michelle wasn't in the competition.
