Short documentary on the plight of Palestinian refugees since 1948 and the exile that many of the refugees' descendants live in. Tells the story of the 1948 Exodus but also shows Palestinian life before Israel's creation. Also shows Israelis as both occupier and eventual peace partner. Originally created for Cultural Anthropology class commorating the fifty-eight year anniversity of the Al Nakba or Israeli Independence Day May 16. Created by me Aan

  • Read the book by Avi Schlaim titled Collusion Across the Jordan.

  • Gomez, if you are interested, I have another minidocumentary about Iraq and war on terrorism in three parts. Just click on the More from Aan3 arrow above the Related Videos chart. Thanks for your support!

  • What about Afghanistan? Bush waged a futile war

  • Gomez, thanks for watching Mesopotamia. I will do another doc later on about Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. I have a feeling it will be tricky though just finding all the materials and assembling them together.

  • The Jews are no better than the Nazis. They destroyed Palestine, made citizens refugees. I am one of them, forced to flee with my family in 1949.

  • The Arab countries force their Jewish citizens (about 900.000 people) to flee for their lives at 48. They became refuges in Israel, but less than a decade after they were already left the camps and join the Israeli society. Why all of the refugees from the end of ww2 (3 years before 1948) aren't refugees for generations and refugees of even latest conflicts (the Balkan wars at the 1991) now aren't, but the Palestinians still are? is the Arab countries using just them?
