Tampa Bay Lightning @ Montreal Canadiens - October 13th, 2010

The Habs home opener was played against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Early, the Habs took a 2-0 lead in the first period off goals from Plekanec and Lapierre. However, late in the third, with the Habs leading 3-2, a ref calls a questionable slashing penalty on Subban which ended up resulting in a goal with just over a minute left in regulation by Steven Stamkos. Once again, with under a minute to go in the extra frame, Ryan Malone scores the game winner in OT as the Canadiens fall to 1-1-1.
